Zina Wyman

Ms. Wyman is an experienced paralegal who is an instrumental part of Christina Humphrey Law, P.C.  If you become a client, you will likely get to know “Zina” at some point in your case.  Inspired by her grandmother, Ms. Wyman returned to university after working for 7 years as an emergency medical operator. She continued to work full time while going to San Diego City College, where she was on the Honor Roll and a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma. She obtained a full academic scholarship from the University of San Diego. Ms. Wyman graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in History, and her Paralegal certificate from USD’s ABA approved program.

She has been working as a paralegal since graduation from USD, accumulating over 18 years of experience in the field.  Her interest in the law and history stem from her exposure to, and involvement in marches with Martin Luther King, Jr., Viet-Nam protests, the ERA. A month after graduation she started working at Appellate Defender’s Inc, a non-profit organization which defends indigent clients in felony criminal appeals in District 4, of the State of California. She started part-time only processing attorney claims, and left 13 years later, as Senior Administrative Assistant. After 4 years of working as an independent contractor paralegal, Zina joined Christina Humphrey Law, P.C. (formerly Humphrey & Rist, LLP) as a full-time paralegal in the firm’s San Diego office.
