For more information or to speak to a lawyer about your case, call us at (805) 618-2924. We will take the time to discuss all aspects of the case with a prospective trucking accident client so that we can give you an opinion as to the best way to proceed. There is never a charge to have a call or initial in-person consultation about your case.
Typically during our initial call or meeting, we will run through all aspects of the accident, including what happened before, during and after the accident. Witness identification and interactions with police or fire departments will also be discussed. We will also gather information regarding the medical treatment that has occurred to date. During our call we will advise you as to whether we think you could have a case.
What happens after we hire your firm to work on my truck accident case?
In every case we will contact witnesses to the accident in order to interview them about what happened. We will also obtain a copy of the police report and will start compiling medical records and bills for treatment of our client. Once we have all of the preliminary information, it might be necessary to hire an expert witness to examine the accident scene and other facts in the case in order to provide an opinion regarding who was at fault. Much of this work is done early in a case so that we have everything we need if and when the negligent trucking company wants to discuss a possible resolution.
